ERASMUS+: Our CROCUS courses in Wales

We have been delivering CROCUS (Cross-Cultural) Workshope for staff in education for the last 15 years.

Our CROCUS courses are intensive, 8-day courses which are funded via the new European ERASMUS+ programme (formerly Comenius). They take place in Wales, in the beautiful area of the Brecon Beacons National Park or in Mumbles (Swansea Bay), a former picturesque fishing village.
CROCUS courses are task-based, 'learning-by-doing' and 'learning-from-each-other workshops that require your active participation at all times. Most of the tasks involve contact and communication with local institutions or organisations or the native population.  Depending on our target group, our programme can entail visits to a nursery or school/college, an Integrated Children's Centre and the Welsh Parliament. It may also comprise talks with Government officials in education.

Regular reflection and evaluation are an integral part or our approach, and so is remedial work on your English performance. In the evening there is always a delicious dinner waiting for you over which you may practise your social skills.

Our courses aim to improve your English language performance as well as you intercultural competence. In addition, we will familiarise you with Welsh and English particularities and the beautiful sceneries around you.
